Etymology
From the Greek akanonistos, meaning ‘irregular’, referring to the irregular sizes of the pentalith.
Description
In this pentalith, one segment develops a ridge and elongates, resembling a spine. The two segments adjacent to the elongated segment are distinctly smaller than the segments to which they are attached.
