Diagnosis
Rounded species of Braarudosphaera have segments that overlap each other in a counterclockwise direction. The sutures between the segments are inclined clockwise.
Etymology
From the Greek psevdis, meaning ‘false’, referring to the difference from Braarudosphaera turbinea
Optical Properties
In the plan view, this species shows length-slow (+) elongation.
Remarks
Braarudosphaera psevditurbinea differs from Braarudosphaera turbinea in the counterclockwise imbrication of its segments, whereas in the latter, the segments imbricate clockwise.
