Gephyrocapsa aperta Kamptner 1963; Length: 1.5-2.0µm, Bridge angle to major axis: ~25-39°
Gephyrocapsa undulatus Lecal, 1967; 1.9-2.9µm, Bridge angle to major axis: ~38-41°.
Length: 2.1µm
Bridge angle to major axis: ~17°
Small species of Gephyrocapsa are characterised by a central area wider than the pelaga and a bridge spanning it, oriented at a very low angle to the major axis of the placolith.
