Optical Properties

The narrow outer wall remains in constant extinction, whereas the wider inner wall and the central cross exhibit white interference colours in plan view under crossed polars.

Remarks

Small, elongated hexagonal species of Corollithion characterised by a double protolith wall surrounding a central area occupied by an axial cross, with longer arms extending to the vertices and shorter arms reaching the elongated sides.
