Bomolithus aquilus Bown, 2010
Circular placoliths have a larger distal shield with a vertical optical axis relative to the microscope stage and a proximal shield with inclined extinctions in the plan view. The tube cycle is indistinct, with a vertical optic axis relative to the microscope stage. The thick distal shield exhibits a parallel extinction and a length-slow (+) elongation in the side view. The narrower, fragile proximal shield displays an inclined extinction and a length-slow (+) elongation in the side view.
