Description

Small size (<4.0µm) species of Obturolithus.

Remarks

Coccolithus taganus Fonseca, 1976 erroneously placed into synonymy of this species. Coccolithus taganus is considered here to be a reworked small Prinsius martini due to the presence of two tube cycles.
