Braarudosphaerales
Remarks
The kryptococcoliths exhibit a laminar arrangement of segments, as in Braarudosphaeraceae, and a spiral arrangement, as in Nannoconaceae. From a plan view, they demonstrate length-slow (+) elongation. These structures are classified as
coccoliths due to their formation of a characteristic coccosphere, a unique feature of coccolithophores.
