Large species of Aktasia [>6.0µm] having a symmetrical diagonal cross. Aktasia disgregatus is distinguished from Aktasia trabeculatus (Gorka, 1957) Varol, n. comb. by being greater than 6.0µm. Aktasia disgregatus is differentiated from Aktasia turonicus (Varol & Girgis, 1994) Varol, n. comb. and Aktasia irregularis (Cepek in Cepek & Hay, 1970) Varol, n. comb. by having a symmetrical diagonal cross. Aktasia turonicus has an axial cross whilst Aktasia irregularis has an asymmetrical cross.
