In the mobile mount
In the mobile mount
Eprolithus eptapetalus Varol, 1992a
Eprolithus eptapetalus and Eprolithus moratus both exhibit seven segments and can be distinguished based on structural differences observed in the plan and side views.
In the plan view, Eprolithus eptapetalus is characterised by longer, slimmer segments that appear to spiral when brought into focus, whereas Eprolithus moratus has shorter, petal-like segments.
In the side view, when observed in a mobile mount, Eprolithus eptapetalus appears taller, with walls constricted at the diaphragm, while Eprolithus moratus is relatively shorter, with
parallel-sided walls.
