Type Species

Rotelapillus radians Noël, 1973

Remarks

A circular to elliptical loxolith features a high protolith wall with protruding spines at its distal end and an overlapping low inner wall. The central area is ornamented with four to eight radial bars. In the plan view, the outer wall is constantly extinct. In contrast, the inner wall exhibits first-order white interference colours, characterised by inclined extinction lines and length-fast (−) elongation.
