Remarks

Rhomboid holococcolith exhibits symmetrical extinction and features four narrow extensions from the edges of the rhomboid. Palaeorhomboaster differs from Rhomboaster by having four narrow extensions from each edge, whereas Rhomboaster has eight thin, long extensions from the corners.
