Basionym

Ceratolithus? atlanticus Perch-Nielsen, 1977

Description

Large, delicate species of Ceratolithus with long apical spine formed by the straight horn. Curved horn also developed into the apical spine. Additional minor spines may ornament horns.

Remarks

Ceratolithus atlanticus differs from any other Ceratolithus Kamptner (1950) species by having well developed two apical spine
