Diplotsekouri indianica Varol, 2025
The species of Diplotsekouri are characterised by a truncated, wider blade with a terminal ridge and a narrower vestigial blade. Diplotsekouri indianica displays first-order whitish-grey interference colours in the plan view. Diplotsekouri indianica exhibits parallel extinction (extinction angle is 0°) and shows length-fast (-) elongation.

Length = 7.35 μm; Width of wider blade = 3.26 μm; Width of narrow blade = 0.65 μm
Diplotsekouri indianica differs from Diplotsekouri francisjosephii in that it has a truncated, wider blade with a terminal ridge, whereas Diplotsekouri francisjosephii has a strongly tapering, wider blade without a terminal ridge.
