Salisia kamptneri Varol, 2004 [Salisia Varol, 2004 is pre-occupied by Salisia Lindley, 1839]
Moderately large [4.0 - 8.0µm] strictly circular species of Vonsalisia Varol (2019) having 13 or more slits in its distal shield.
Vonsalisia kamptneri differs from Vonsalisia gartneri in having 13 or more slits in its distal shield, whereas the latter has 12 or fewer slits.
It is distinguished from Vonsalisia ovata by being strictly circular rather than elliptical to sub-circular.
