Cylindralithus serratus Bramlette & Martini, 1964
The elliptical species of Cylindralithus features a high protolith outer wall, a narrow and low inner wall with overlapping segments (Figure 33 in Varol, 2025a), and a vacant central area. It exhibits inclined extinction lines at an angle of approximately 65° on the inner wall on the distal side and shows length-fast (−) elongation. The proximal rim extends beyond the outer wall, with both structures displaying length-fast (−) elongation in the side view. Cylindralithus serratus differs from Cylindralithus crassus because it is elliptical, whereas the latter is circular.
