Gartnerago clarusora Varol, 1991
The segments display whitish-grey interference colours, whereas the wall exhibits a white interference colour.
Species of Asapholithos are characterised by four nearly equal-sized segments separated by slightly curved, distinct axial and lateral sutures, and surrounded by a narrow wall. The lateral suture is dislocated at its junction with the axial suture.
Asapholithos clarusora is similar to Asapholithos porosuturalis but differs in lacking pores along the sutures and in having a smooth wall structure.
