Optical Properties

In the plan view, Braarudosphaera regularis exhibits length-slow (+) elongation.

Remarks

Species of Braarudosphaera have kite-shaped segments that form a pentagon without indented edges. The free length of the segments is shorter than the joint length. The sutures between the segments meet at the midpoint of the periphery.
