Ethmorhabdus camaratus Bukry, 1969
Placoliths are constructed of cretarhabdid shields and a tube cycle surrounding a large central area spanned by a diagonal cross that supports a distal process. The inter-cross area is occupied by numerous pentagonal pores arranged in concentric cycles.
The entire species exhibits first-order, greyish-white interference colours. The pelaga of Ralphsalomonia exhibits inclined extinction and length-fast (-) elongation in its natural settling position, as seen in plan view under crossed polars.
