Zygodiscus clausus Romein, 1977
A species of Zygodiscus characterised by an axial or nearly axial, multi-segmented, elongated disjunct bar that fully spans the central area. The bar displays symmetrical extinction, dim at 45° and brightest at 0°. The narrow outer wall remains in constant extinction, while the inner wall shows first-order white to yellow interference colours, with dextrogyre inclined extinction lines and length-fast (−) elongation on the distal side.
