Final Epithet
Acuturris scotus (Risatti, 1973) Wind & Wise in Wise & Wind, 1977
Basionym

Eurhabdus scotus Risatti, 1973

Synonyms

Lucianorhabdus scotus (Risatti 1973) Verbeek, 1977

Remarks

Holococcolith has a thin proximal plate supporting a long, pointed distal process composed of three blades. The holotype size given by Risatti in 1973 is believed to be incorrect. The presence of Micula decussata alongside the holotype in the original photograph suggests that this form was approximately 15-20 µm long.
