Ericsonia subpertusa Hay & Mohler, 1967
Denisea specimens between 5.0–9.0 μm with a narrow central area are assigned to Denisea subpertusa. The diameter of the central area is less than the width of the pelaga.
Denisea subpertusa differs from the similarly sized Denisea aliquanta and Denisea foramena in that it has a narrower central area than the width of the pelaga. In contrast, in Denisea aliquanta, the central area diameter is greater than the width of the pelaga. The diameter of the central area is at least twice the width of the pelaga in Denisea foramena.
