Cyclicargolithus bukryi Wise, 1973
Reticulofenestra westerholdii Bown & Dunkley Jones, 2012
The calculated size of the holotype is 6.8µm.
Reticulofenestra bukryi is a medium to large-sized species, ranging from 5.0 to 10.0 μm, that is strictly circular. The proximal and distal shields of this species exhibit first-order white interference colours. The central area is void and surrounded by a tube cycle.
Reticulofenestra bukryi can be distinguished from Reticulofenestra dennei by its size; specifically, Reticulofenestra bukryi is larger, typically greater than 5.0 μm. The calculated holotype of Reticulofenestra bukryi measures 6.8 μm, with a size range given by Wise (1973) of 6.0 to 8.0 μm. The paratype of Reticulofenestra bukryi is considered here to be Cyclicargolithus neogammation.
