Discolithus spinosus Deflandre & Fert, 1954
Rhabdolith having a complex base and a variable distal process. The base is formed by a shield and additional two inner cycles. There is a very short cycle of vertical elements connecting the base to the distal process A collar is attached to the base of the distal process
It differs from Rhabdosphaera by having more than two-cycle in its base, a colour attached to the bottom of the distal process and an often complex distal process.
