Zygodiscus minimus Bukry, 1969
In honour of Mr Salih Konya, Retired Geologist, Denizli, Turkey.
Loxolith consists of a single zeugoid wall, a transverse bar supporting a hollow distal process, and a variety of structures on both sides of the transverse bar in the central area.
The wall and the transverse bar are in constant extinction because the optic axis (c-axis) is perpendicular to the microscope stage. The central structures on both sides of the transverse bar exhibit white interference colours.
