Pontosphaera geminipora Bartol, 2010
A Pontosphaera species is characterised by paired elongated pores arranged in two to three complete concentric cycles, with additional randomly distributed pores in the centre. Pontosphaera geminipora exhibits uniform interference colours in the plan view in XPL due to the comparable height of the wall and the distal cover over the proximal plate.
